KS3 tuition (Year 7 - 9)
After moving up to secondary school, a lot of students get a bit lost with their maths – new areas like algebra are introduced and sadly often taught by teachers who are not maths specialists.
The first thing we will do is work together using systems I have to identify these gaps and address them.
By the time we've done this, I will have also learnt a lot about the specific things that are holding you back in maths, and I will then create an individual plan that is carefully structured, ensuring we cover the right topics in the right order.
I cover all exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR, …), at both tiers (Foundation & Higher), and it doesn't matter which board & tier you are doing – we will work out a plan for success. It is not uncommon for students who do a year of weekly sessions to make 2 – 3 grades of progress, sometimes even more!
